A lot of time and words are used up to convince manufacturers of all sizes and stripes to implement new ERP systems. There is a large market of ERP systems helping shops improve their bottom line. As a matter of fact, ERP systems are so prevalent the net benefit of adopting it alone is no longer enough. It is a core component of production where the expense of having it is so overshadowed by the benefits it brings that not using one to its full potential places you at a disadvantage.

For an ERP to be effective over time, it must also be able to keep and generate knowledge that the firm can action. This is what leads to better business, more innovation, and more interactive teams.
