Correcting Issue with Adobe PDF Reader

If you have been experiencing intermittent crashing or hanging problems with OnRamp whilst using Adobe Acrobat Reader versions DC or XI, there is a solution. In a recent update, Adobe has changed the default setting for one of the security features.

To fix this issue follow these steps.

  • Click Edit in menu.
  • Click Preferences at the bottom of the menu.
  • Select Security (Enhanced) from the category list.
  • Disable the “Enable Protected Mode at Startup” checkbox.
